Artist Books
Since 2007, Kayrock has published a numbered series of artist books, screenprinted and hand bound in our studio. Each one starts with an invitation: we ask an artist to make a book with us, then print it the way we print everything, by hand, one color at a time. The results range from geometry primers and coloring books to tour sketchbooks and things that resist description.
Titles from the series are held in the collections of the New York Public Library, the Whitney Museum of American Art Library, and university special collections, and have been shown at the Printed Matter Art Book Fairs in New York and Los Angeles.
