5 color screenprint on French 100lb cover, 24"x18", 2018
Made in Brooklyn, NY. Standard 18"x24" size for easy and affordable framing or let us frame it in our hand made Vermont maple museum frame featuring walnut splines, archival UV blocking glazing and acid free mounting.
In utilizing the unique ability to create transparency and layering with the silkscreen medium, my desire was to make something that feels connected to multiple periods of time–the past and the present. The narrative layer is derived from the mythological scenes depicted on the titular "Francois Vase", an ancient Greek vessel with special significance.
