Signed and numbered edition of 185 by Liz Wendelbo
3 color screenprint on French 100lb cover, 2019
Moiré is a phenomenon I was interested in experimenting with in this print. I’m fascinated with analog ways to create images. For this I superimposed stripes printed on transparencies and set them off slightly thus creating moiré. I left the dust do its thing. I’m also interested in how an image can conjure up a scent or trigger a sound, or expand into another dimension, such as 3D. The title Angélique is a reference to the name of a wild flower with the most divine and discreet scent. It is also the title of a song on my band's new album 'Hypnos'.
