"Hula" is a piece exploring the visual patterns found in a sequence of motion and the passing of time through a variety of characters. Although I have no natural affinity to the activity, I love an excuse to capture figures in beautifully awkward moments of motion. It's also a celebration of the joy and frustration that can be found in such a simple activity.
