When asked to do a poster for Kayrock's Fresh Prints, I wanted to produce something that could only be created with screen printing. Mesh started as a piece of used screen printing mesh from the Kayrock studio. I took the scrap, folded it, ripped it and crumpled it into a composition divided into thirds. I then enlarged that composition to be poster size, highlighting the form of the mesh itself. The mesh is then printed as a single screen gradient recalling the tradition of screen printed ephemera's beautiful graduated color backgrounds.

Made in Brooklyn, NY. Standard 18"x24" size for easy and affordable framing. Framed prints are fulfilled by Simply Framed and current lead time is approximately one month. Frames are glazed with 99% UV blocking plexi and have a shadowbox spacer.
