Haptic Experiment No. 4 was inspired from a series of haptic experiments that Nelson and their friend, the poet and dancer Mark McCloughan, were conducting together during the summer of 2018. Nelson later turned a number of these experiments into drawings about touch, desire, and fluctuating bodily contours.
