My work is rooted in geometric abstraction and is layered with a queer, cultural and personal narrative. For my Fresh Print, I drew inspiration from textiles of the Philippines as well as the quilts of Gee's Bend and Bauhaus textiles. Utilizing bold color and geometry, I often play with subtle variations in color, pattern and scale to distort any perceived symmetry.
